We all lost a good coach & most importantly a great friend! He was a players coach, and a player who made things look easy. Dean will be missed by everyone! Rest easy Coach! #deaner pic.twitter.com/Ovl4hFwXzO

During his playing career, Dean Hill was an active member in many Iroquois international events. He participated in the 2007 and 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships, part of winning two silver medals for Team Iroquois.
After his NLL career, Hill transitioned over to coaching for the Six Nations Minor Lacrosse Association (SNMLA). His impact on the game was certainly felt by others as he was very much loved by those around him.
Very sad to hear the news about the passing of Dean Hill. I had the pleasure to spend several seasons with him while he was with the Stealth organization. Super soft hands and high lax IQ player who had a great career in the NLL followed by his (multiple) Minto championships. pic.twitter.com/hIE0q1ROit
